Scholarship Requirements

The Greater Richmond Relocation Council (GRRC) is pleased to present you with our scholarship application package for recently relocated students. Scholarships of up to $1,000 will be awarded.
We are a nonprofit organization that brings together corporations and relocation service providers in and around Richmond for the primary purpose of providing educational information and relocation industry updates to our members. The public school system is a very important part of the relocation process for children moving into the Richmond/Tidewater area. This scholarship program was developed as a service to our local community.
Eligibility criteria:
Eligible seniors must meet the following criteria:
- Relocated more than 50 miles and changed schools
- Relocated between the grades of 9 and 12
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on a scale of 4.0)
Please ensure the following are included in the scholarship package:
- Application
- Most recent test scores (SAT, etc.)
- Essay
- Extracurricular activities

Completed packages should be sent to jacotten@plusrelocation.com by February 28. Incomplete submissions will not be considered.
The scholarships will be awarded at our spring GRRC meeting scheduled for April. Selected scholarship recipients will receive an invitation to present their essay at our meeting.
